The 2010 Toyota Tundra Double Cab 4x4 has impressive handling, seating for five to six passengers, nice amenities, and great towing power. There are trim styles for austere and extravagant individuals alike, including the stylish Limited trim, featuring luxurious elements such as a 6-disc CD changer and front and rear sonar. Two engine sizes are available--a 310 horsepower 4.6L V8, and a 381 horsepower 5.7L V8. Additionally, all trim styles offer a flexible fuel version, which will satisfy the tastes of those eco-friendly individuals.The 2010 Tundra received high marks from Edmunds who commented, "This highly respectable finish is due in no small part to the Tundra's burly chassis and powerful 5.7-liter V8 engine option." Heavy-duty mechanical equipment standard for every trim level includes a power assisted four-wheel anti-lock brake system, a 4WDemand system with 2-speed transfer case, and an automatic limited-slip differential for dealing with tough off-roading situations. The suspension package breaks up the bumps and the rough spots with a rear live axle with trapezoidal multi-leaf rear suspension, and staggered outboard-mounted low-pressure nitrogen gas shocks; and front independent coil-spring high-mounted double-wishbone suspension with a stabilizer bar, and low-pressure nitrogen gas shocks.
Convenience features found in every trim include cruise control, 6 cupholders, an illuminated entry system, and a remote keyless entry system.
Naturally, the 2010 Tundra Double Cab 4x4 comes with all of the safety features that Toyota is famous for, such as the Star Safety System which includes electronic Brake-force Distribution, Brake Assist, Vehicle Stability, and Traction Control. The sumptuous and powerful new 4.6L Limited trim pairs a 310 horsepower, 4.6-liter, DOHC 32V i-FORCE V8 engine with 6-speed electronically controlled transmission with intelligence; sequential shift mode; uphill/downhill shift logic; and TOW/HAUL mode. The seating capacity is 5 and the tow capacity is 8300 lbs.
This Base trim features a longer bed, and runs on a 4.6-liter V8 engine with a five-speed automatic transmission; exterior equipment includes power heated outside mirrors. 
The 5.7L V8 Base trim puts you in control of the road with a DOHC 32V i-FORCE V8 engine with dual independent VVT-i and 6-speed electronically controlled transmission with intelligence. The engine pumps out an awesome 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque. The seating capacity is six and the tow capacity is 8300 lbs.
The 2010 FFV Base is exactly the same as the 5.7L Base except that the 5.7-liter DOHC 32V i-FORCE V8 engine in the FFV version includes ethanol technology. The engine is matched with efficient 6-speed electronically controlled transmission with intelligence. Flexible fuel vehicles can be powered with regular gasoline, E85, or any combination of the two. This trim seats six and can pull up to 8300 lbs.
