Every 2009 Tacoma PreRunner's interior is home to full carpeting and a newly designed, sculpted door trim that features a fabric insert, a map pocket, and two bottle holders. The Tacoma offers drivers convenience features like dual 12V auxiliary power outlets, sun visors with a passenger-side vanity mirror, a tilt/telescopic steering wheel, and three front cup holders. LED-illuminated gauges top off the Tacoma PreRunner's fresh interior vibe.
The 2009 Tacoma PreRunner sticks with the Tacoma tradition by being a solid, incredibly safe truck. It features one-piece frame rail construction with seven cross members and a fully boxed front sub-frame. The Tacoma PreRunner gets its competitive performance edge from equipment like coil-spring double wishbone front and leaf spring rear suspension, variable-assist power rack-and-pinion steering and rear 10" drum brakes with a tandem booster. All 2009 Tacoma PreRunners come with vehicle stability and traction control; automatic limited slip differential; and a four-wheel antilock braking system.
